your hands are shaved, amputee
spiders wrestling with themselves,
their nail-spindles scratching and growing through the fray.
your hands cast their webs
into the crooks of my neck,
onto my ears, and crawl across my chest;
nesting, sleeping, stretching their legs as they fall still.
