My Things

Once I labeled my room
I knew where everything was,
and no one would come in
and disrupt my things,
because I had placed them
exactly in the right spot.

I would know
if they had been touched
or moved
or altered in the slightest.

I miss the old trust,
but I will not be had again.

These are my things
and I love them.
