And there goes a horse
Running through a California
Desert-plain, free and shining,
Rippling in that visceral glee
And mocking the lack of grace
At the core of my humanity.
And there goes an octopus,
Giggling tentacle death,
Whooshing through seascapes
With rainbow emotions beguiling,
Hiding my dominance within
Deceptively clever intentions.
