The entire party gathered, stunned,
Hunkering together
In the white snow,
Gazing toward the colorful explosions
In the midnight black sky
(Stealing attention from the ghastly full moon
And drunken escapades of the socially sloppy)
None of them knowing if there should be fireworks,
But none of them caring why there were fireworks.
